5 Years and Rising

In 2023, VietRISE celebrated our 5 year anniversary–marking 5 years of interracial organizing to win the world we deserve in our lifetimes.

Pardon Tin

After being incarcerated for over 22 years and detained by ICE for 10 months upon earning his release from prison, Tin Nguyen, beloved community member and current Immigrant Justice Coordinator at VietRISE, is facing deportation to Vietnam. Join us in calling on Governor Newsom to grant Tin a pardon in order for him to stay united with his loved ones and local community in SoCal.

Keep An Home

Join us in helping our beloved community member, An Nguyen, fight his deportation! An is a caretaker for his family, sisters, niece, and elderly mother, and would have no family or support system at all in Viet Nam if ICE deports him. The only way to prevent An’s deportation is to get a pardon from Governor Newsom. Help call on Governor Newsom to stop ICE from deporting An by granting An a pardon, so he can remain with his family, community, and loved ones.
