Overview

As of summer 2023, we are thrilled to announce the launch of VietRISE’s Membership Program, a community organizing initiative that aims to build a community and network of individuals dedicated to advancing social justice and community empowerment in Orange County’s Little Saigon. By joining the program, members become part of a collective force committed to advancing social justice and building power with working-class Vietnamese and immigrant communities.

Benefits

All members receive the following benefits:

• Welcome package with a VietRISE tote bag, t-shirts, and more
• Access to the VietRISE Membership Discord server
• Notice of paid positions weeks in advance
• Book club, author talk events, and member-specific socials
• Join a committee to work on activities that advance VietRISE’s mission
• Voting rights at VietRISE Congress on propositions and other matters
• Voting rights on t-shirt designs and other topic
• Co-working days at the VietRISE office with free coffee and snacks

Membership

Currently, membership into our program is by invitation. We identify and invite potential members based on the following:

• Demonstrated alignment with VietRISE’s mission and vision
• Has been an active volunteer and/or participant in VietRISE’s programs and activities
